This licence is commonly referred to as a PAL (Powered Access Licence) card. It is essential for workers in industries like construction, maintenance, warehousing, and facilities management, where access equipment is regularly used. Employers rely on this certification to ensure that operators understand how to use machinery correctly and reduce the risk of workplace accidents.

To obtain an IPAF licence, candidates must complete an approved training course.
